Historic Productions Ltd is a team of top historians and researchers led by Dr Oliver Cox, former Heritage Engagement Fellow at Oxford University. Historic Productions researches and writes your company history for better brand story and employee engagement. Our position is that taking a strategic approach to company history is good business sense, essential for marketing your brand story, and that having a heritage strategy delivers on targets within ESG/CSR frameworks through increasing employee engagement.

James Hooper

James Hooper - Founder & Director

FRSA founded Historic Productions following 15 years as UK Director of Global Heritage Fund, an international heritage conservancy that has delivered heritage-led solutions for 28 sites in 19 countries, forming over 120 partnerships to engage communities, businesses and the public sector.He is a qualified solicitor and from 2016 to 2018 served as a trustee of the Prince's School of Traditional Arts.James is a member of the Society of Genealogists, the Archives and Records Association and an associate member of the Association of Heritage Interpreters.

Oliver Cox

Dr Oliver Cox - Head of Research Unit

Heritage Engagement Fellow at the University of Oxford and leads the Oxford University Heritage Network.He teaches architectural and cultural history and is faculty member for both the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme and Oxford Cultural Leaders at the Said Business School.

Oliver is Chair of the Heritage Alliance’s Digital, Learning and Skills Advocacy Group.As leader of the Research Unit, Oliver brings the best historians and researchers in your sector to focus on your story.
